Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer trail rides?

We do not offer trail rides at this time. Thank you for your interest!

I want to come tour the barn, when can I do this?

We are a family owned and operated facility, and do not have standard operating hours or an office. Because of this we do not allow drop-ins, but we are happy to schedule a tour with you! Send an email including your name + interest (boarding or otherwise), and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I want to volunteer! How can I do this?

Check out our volunteer page above, and fill out our form! Our volunteer program is still being finalized. We appreciate your patience and enthusiasm to help us out!

Do you offer horses to lease?

We do, but options are highly limited due to availability and pairings. At CMS we want to pair our horses with a compatible rider, so we require that you to ride with us in our lesson program before we will lease out a horse. If you are currently part of our lesson program or have ridden with us, feel free to reach out about available horses.

I'm interested in having a horse themed birthday party at CMS. How do I schedule this?

Check out our birthday party page above! There you will find our package options, and availabilities. Once you have made a decision, send us an email to schedule!

--- LESSONS ---

I want to sign up for lessons! How do I do this?

Check out our lessons page above to find all of our information. Here is a summary of the process

1) Fill out our Riding Lessons Registration Form!

2) Wait for one of our instructors to contact you (due to a recent influx of interest, this may take a little while)

* Do not make any payments until you have a confirmation from a CMS staff member. This only makes the enrollment process take longer!

3) Once you have confirmation from an instructor, follow the steps outlined in the email sent to you

4) Enjoy your time with us at CMS!

How do I cancel my lesson?

Right here! Lesson Cancellation Form. We require 24 hour notice, or else you will be charged. In person or emailed cancellation notice does not count.

How do payments work?

We require that you pay for all lessons at the beginning of each month. We do not run on a "pay as you go" system. All payments should be made through Paypal (found on our lessons page) with "friends and family"

When should I arrive for my lesson? Can I come earlier than 5 minutes before?

This is completely up to your instructor, so ask! However, unless your instructor has given you permission please do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you are given permission to come early, you are expected to work independently or wait until your lesson officially begins. This privilege may be revoked by your instructor at any time.
